Gluten Free Steak Skewers

Easy to make and delicious marinated Beef Steak cubes grilled with Assorted Vegetables and Herbs.

Another easy to make recipe that is perfect for the summer! The marinade is very simple: pineapple juice, salt, pepper, garlic, and olive oil. The pineapple juice tenderizes the meat and adds lots of flavor!

Marinate the beef for at least 30 minutes and then toss on the grill. Perfect for those Summer outings or gatherings!

Prep time: 5 minutes

Marinate: at least 30 minutes

Cooking time: 8 to 10 minutes

Serves 4 people

For best results, I recommend using a grill to cook the skewers. You could use a grill tray if you have one.


  • 2 pounds of beef steak (any cut you want that can be cubbed)

  • 1 cup of pineapple juice

  • 5 cloves of garlic (peeled and minced)

  • 1/2 tablespoon of seal salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper

  • Olive oil

  • Vegetables of your choice (onions, bell peppers, zucchini, squash, mushrooms...)

  • Fresh Rosemary

  • Wood or metal skewers


Step 1: Prepare the marinade

  1. In a large non-reactive container mix the pineapple juice, salt, pepper, garlic, and rosemary.

  2. Whisk until incorporated.

Step 2: Prepare the steak

  1. In a large ziploc back, add the cubbed steak.

  2. Pour the marinade over it. Seal bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Step 3: Prepare the Skewers

  1. Once the steak has marinated for at least 30 minutes, remove from marinade. Reserve some of the marinade for basting during the grilling process.

  2. Wash the vegetables and cut to desired size. Make sure they have some thickness to them so they will hold their shape during cooking.

  3. Start the skewers by inserting a piece of vegetable. Follow with a piece of steak and some rosemary. Repeat the process. Cap with a vegetable.

  4. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the skewers.

Step 4: Grilling the Steak Skewers

  1. Preheat your grill as instructed by the manufacture.

  2. Grease the grill to ensure the skewers will not stick to it.

  3. Grill skewers for 10 to 20 minutes depending on the type of grill you are using (gas, electric, or charcoal). Baste with the reserved marinade. Turn every 2 minutes.

  4. Serve and enjoy!
