Asparagus Wrapped in Prosciutto

Delicious, simple, and easy to make.

In a pinch for time and wanting to make something healthy? Try these prosciutto wrapped asparagus. They are done in less than 20 minutes


Prep time: less than 10 minutes

Cooking time: less than 20 minutes

Serves 5 people


INGREDIENTS

You will need cooking twine, a baking tray, and parchment paper for this.

  • 15 asparagus

  • 1/2 pound of prosciutto

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • Cooking Twine

Method:

  1. Preheat the over to 350 degrees F / 175 degrees C.

  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  3. Wash the asparagus and pat dry with a paper towel.

  4. Cut 2 inches off the bottom of the asparagus. That's the fibrous part and it is quite difficult to eat.

  5. Put 3 asparagus together and gently wrap them with the prosciutto.

  6. Tie with a piece of twine and place on baking tray.

  7. Repeat the process with all.

  8. Drizzle the asparagus with olive oil.

  9. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  10. Cook in the oven for 15 minutes or until the prosciutto is crispy and the asparagus are semi soft.

  11. Serve and enjoy!!!
